The cancer diagnosis of his 10-year-old son Leon has hit André hard. His image of a perfect world has been destroyed and lies in shambles before him. He distrusts the doctors who urge him to give Leon chemotherapy. André searches for alternatives and goes on a research trip on the Internet. In the end, he is convinced that his son's cancer must be a vaccine defect. He becomes increasingly entangled in a world of alternative facts. Soon he is convinced that, in addition to a cure for his son, he has also discovered a deeper truth. He wants to share these findings with the public, records a video message and plans to flee to Paraguay with his son. When the police finally show up at his apartment, where he has holed up with his son, he falls back into his escape mode, which is hopeless. In the end, the question remains: Can he save Leon? Will everything finally be all right again?
